Angove Long Row Riverland Moscato 2023 - 12 Bottles

Winery Overview

Angove Family Winemakers, founded in 1886, is a long-standing family business founded on producing approachable, fruit-driven wines that reflect their vineyards' character. The Long Row label is all about enjoyable, easy-drinking styles made for sharing and casual occasions.

Vineyards & Vintage Conditions

The 2023 Moscato grapes come from the Riverland region in South Australia, where warm daytime temperatures and cooler nights helped preserve aromatics and natural acidity. The vintage was well suited to producing lively fruit-driven wines, particularly lighter aromatic styles like Moscato.

Winemaking Process

Harvesting was done at optimal ripeness, with care to pick when the fruit still has freshness. The grapes were gently pressed and cool-fermented to retain their natural aromatics and sweetness. Minimal intervention in the winery ensures a clean, vibrant profile true to Moscato fruit.

Tasting Notes

  • Appearance: Pale gold with green highlights

  • Aroma: Musk, orange blossom, ripe stone fruits

  • Palate: Sweet yet balanced, featuring apricot, citrus and tropical fruit flavours, with a refreshing and light finish

Food Pairing

Perfect with fresh fruit desserts, light cakes, or spicy Asian cuisine. Also lovely served chilled as an aperitif.
